The new Financial Secretary!

Oh my goodness. So many changes haha. So this last week I was called to work on the mission staff as the financial secretary. Im super pumped for the new call and to continue to just be a missionary in this work. My schedule is way different now and my PDAYS ARE ON WEDNESDAY now. Im in a really nice area of São Paulo and our house is pretty sweet as well so there are lots of pros.

My time was super fast in my last area, but im super happy with the work we were able to get done. And im hoping to receive good news in the coming weeks, cause it seems like a good 2-3 people we were teaching will be baptized.

Im also excited for the new area and my new comp (Elder Araújo from Maranhão here in Brazil). He is a killer missionary and a really good guy. Looking forward to getting to know him and work with him cause we will probably be comps until the end of my mission hahah. So we work in the office from 10-4 during the week and then leave at night to work in our area. Then on the weekends we work normally. I know we will be blessed even with much less time to be able to bring lots of people unto Christ. That is the part im most excited for.

funny story: haha i can say this now cause ive left the area now and my mom cant get mad at me now. So in my last area, there was a super sketchy favela. When we told the members that we had investigators there, they were like "wait, elder how did you get into that favela?" Turns out even the bishop was denied entrance into that favela trying to bring kitchen gas to someone lol. They have 24 hour surveillance by the guys that live in the favela. They sit at the end of the favela with walkie talkies talking about anything that goes on. But every time we just walked by, said hello, and they let us in. Even at 8 IN THE MORNING ON SUNDAY haha they were still out there guarding. But its all good cause they were chill with us and the Lord protects us and because of that 2 people will probably be baptized from that area!! 😋

LAST SHOUTOUT TO MY MAN ELDER PARKER OPFAR! He is a great example to me and has 2 weeks left on his mission! So that means that the first of the CORE 4 is coming home😳 the reunion is approaching...So Parker I love you man! Thanks for killing it here in Brazil with me for these 2 years. Cant wait to see you. Ladies, watch out...

pics- finally saw a cute dog here, and saying goodbye to recent converts in my last area): and a flood in my old area
