Knocking on doors and getting cussed out...

so this week was a gooood one really. We worked so hard with the little time we have and we were seriously blessed for that. We are already seeing lots of miracles happening in our area. For example, 2 people that werent even expecting just showed up to church on Sunday!

On Saturday, we were knocking a few doors close to the church and one guy looked out his window pretty mad and i left the best invite i could with him. Then he told me that i woke him up and started cussing me out. Long story short, it didnt go too well with him, but we found plenty of other elects on our search.

On Saturday night we were getting soaked by the rain and it was pretty miserable, but we pushed through it and went to visit a girl from our English class. Her name is Vitória and she is so cool. I've never seen anyone with so much desire to serve the Lord than she has. She knows the Bible super well and we were able to teach her a lessson full of the spirit. She asked us right away how the process was to serve a mission. We explained to her that it really is a priviledge to serve the Lord as missionaries. She got so excited already to be a "sister". She went to church the next day and we showed her to the sister missionaries in our ward and they took care of the rest kinda haha. She fell in love with them and the idea of being a missionary one day. It was such a weird case, but seriously a miracle. She has a desire to be baptized. She really wants to find the right church. We will be talking with her a lot this week and also to her mom to help her understand the importance of baptism and the Holy Ghost in her life. We know the mom is a big Catholic, but we are confident that the spirit will testify to her.

Then, on Sunday, we went to an area to teach someone, but i remembered someone we had done a contact with a while ago. I had a strong impression that we should return to his house and try to teach him. Turns out his wife let us in and we taught the whole family! (mom, dad, and 2 twin 10 year old daughters). They all are such a united family and accepted baptismal dates together. We will do everything to get them to church this week for them to get to know the Church of Jesus Christ. I love every chance I get to teach about eternal families and temples so it was a super great experience with such a special family.

I love you guys and wanna thank yall for the support that you guys always give me!
Have a great week!
