Elaine is Baptized

Carumba first of all it was sooo hot this week. A pool sounded like heaven most of the week. But the next best thing was that the baptism of Elaine all went through and it was awesome! Our ward was so supportive of her and she seemed super happy. The gospel brings without a doubt a knowledge and a happiness that I cant find anywhere else in my life and its exciting to see that begin to happen in the lives of these people in brazil we have an opportunity to teach. 

Other good news, our first baptism, Carlos, has been super strong! He has since recieved the priesthood and is always early and sitting in the pews when we walk into church each week. it puts a big smile on my face to see him continue in his journey in the gospel. 

"Draw near unto me and I will draw near unto you; seek me diligently and ye shall find me..." (D&C 88:63) I would invite all of you to seek the Lord and serve him by serving his children. In turn, you will see a larger presence of Him in your life!

Funny story of the week- One of our investigators was talking about the super bowl last year and how amazing Tom Brady was. After the lesson, we are walking in the streets and my companion says "Tom Brady is the greatest football player ever and he married a Brazilian....RESPECT! Thats a smart man." hahaha

anyways I love you all and miss you so much.

Gurksnis, Grayson Robert Oi Presidente, tudo bem? Estou muito bem aqui no escritório. É realmente um privilégio de estar aqui trabalhando um pouco mais perto com o senhor. Sao Paulo North about to get iPhones!

Haha so the long wait here in South America may be coming to an end. My cellphone from 2002 is gonna get a little bit better soon! My mission was chosen to do a flight project of more advanced cell phones for missionaries here in South America like they have in the U.S, Canada, etc. Its very slow going and we will have very little access to things but its an exciting step that I know will help us to be more productive and effective and overall help edify even more the kingdom of God here on earth. This week we are really working with some elects. Sadly, Bruno didnt work out this Sunday, but we are still working with him to be baptized this next week. But I am super super excited about the rest of the people we are working with. Sara first of all is way firm for this Sunday. She has made a huge huge progress recently. The Lord prepares his elects for this work!! Baptism of Gilmara and Aline!!

What a week! The crazyness hasnt stopped and i dont think it will. But my first real week here in Perus was great. We baptized Gilmara and Aline yesterday! I cant describe the feelings i have when i see the happiness on the faces of people who are coming unto Christ. The baptism was definitely a memorable one.  Also I have an incredible experience from a splits I went on this week with another missionary in a sick area here on the mission. Its one of the missions literally in the mountains and forest. It reminds me of Colorado and made me miss my Jeep lol. But in the morning we were going after a few addresses of people that were contacted a while back. We werent having any success and I was feeling a little down and questioning why we were going after these people, but i went anyway. In the last door we knocked at, a man came out and immediately opened the gate for us and told us to come in. He told us that he and his wife had passed by the church just 30 minutes before and ha...
