Emergency Transfer :) :(

During the Leadership Meeting of our mission this week President METEU LOUCO lol and did an emergency transfer in the minute. He sent Elder Rodrigues to Guapira and I am now training another new Zone Leader Elder Perigolo. He is a cool guy and we were already good friends on the mission. He's a huge dude from Rio de Janeiro! He eats like Micheal Phelps....lol 1 liter of milk and 6 eggs every day! Dude is crazy. Its sad cause me and Rodrigues wanted to stay together, but just gotta trust in the inspiration of president. But im way excited to get to work with Elder Perigolo. 

This week we were able to continue to work with Giovanna, Halley, and Osylea who are all in some way connected with Alessandra and Lucianno. Haha they are our best friends right now and providing a ton of people to teach. They are incredible! Giovanna and Halley are ready and wanting to be baptized, we've just gotta get it authorized by the parents which is being a little difficult sadly. Osylea is Alessandras sister and seems to have a great desire to be baptized as well! We are planning with them and a bunch of other recent converts a pizza night this week for my birthday and the birthday of another recent convert! You could say im wayyy pumped. 

This week I wanted all yall to look up in google "Because of Him lds" and watch this video. I know its been out for a while, but this video just blows me away every time. Every time I watch, I seem to love my Savior more and more. Its incredible the chances we have in this life BECAUSE OF HIM! and only him! I hope we can all appreciate that and make His sacrifice valid in our lives. its only 3 minutes!!

Funny story about Brazil: So pretty much in any place where there are lots of cars parked on the street, there is always a homeless dude who puts on an orange vest and "watches" over the cars so they arent robbed. And then when the person is ready to leave, he pretty much charges them a few reais for the "work" he did. If you dont pay them, they most likely key your car lol. So thats one way homeless people make money here...

Sao Paulo North about to get iPhones!

Haha so the long wait here in South America may be coming to an end. My cellphone from 2002 is gonna get a little bit better soon! My mission was chosen to do a flight project of more advanced cell phones for missionaries here in South America like they have in the U.S, Canada, etc. Its very slow going and we will have very little access to things but its an exciting step that I know will help us to be more productive and effective and overall help edify even more the kingdom of God here on earth. This week we are really working with some elects. Sadly, Bruno didnt work out this Sunday, but we are still working with him to be baptized this next week. But I am super super excited about the rest of the people we are working with. Sara first of all is way firm for this Sunday. She has made a huge huge progress recently. Taking cold showers in 50 degree weather!

this week our hot water/electricity stopped working exactly in the coldest week of the year hahah. But its mission memories so I was all down for it. When you get really hyped up its not even that cold. Hahah sometimes in my prayers I just ask the Lord for experiences. I dont specify the kind of experiences I want, but I know the mission is all about experiences so I've been able to have all kinds of experiences while here in Brazil. Thats what I love so much about the mission is you really never know what your day is gonna be like and who you will end of meeting, etc.  This week our focus was marking a date with Aldair. He has already been to church 3 times and had already accepted baptism, but we werent able to mark a specific date with him. When we went there on Wednesday, he was super firm in wanting to be baptized on this next sunday the 15th. We feel that he really was an elect from the Lord.
